I must be really thick because I can't find anything on line, so if anyone can help that would be great.

Ford smax, flat battery, I can't find access to the negative on the battery, so where do I connect the negative lead to allow me to jump start?

Thanks

Might be safer to use a suspension top nut?

As above, anything properly earthed that you can get a decent connection to will do; just make sure it is properly earthed.

If its like the current focus the negative is on the front wing inside the engine bay next to the battery. There is a black cable that runs to a metal nipple looking thing .
