Hey guys,

I've decided to buy myself a F type V6S for my 33rd birthday next December and want to know what the lead time & deposit amount is, if anyone knows?

I figured I'd be ok popping into a dealer in Feb/March….

For the first time in years I cannot stop thinking about a car; this has been going on for weeks now so I know I must have one smile

Thanks in advance smile

To be honest, I doubt you will have much problems with lead times, they are not exactly flying out of the dealers, plenty of unregistered stock available.
Also by next December you should get quite a deal on one, there are already 10% discounts available

Ok cool; it was the coupe I am smitten by. Similar story after first few months hype dies down, do you reckon?

I would give about 4 months lead time. There is a summer factory shut down to consider.

As for deposit terms, that would usually depend on spec, if its a safe and sensible spec then a couple of grand would be usual. If you wanted say green with a red interior then anything up to 10% in case you change your mind.....!

If you want a coupé go into a dealership now and register interest for when they get their demonstrator in. If you were after a convertible you could probably wait until Feb / March as you say.
