Just checking in relation to the 18" spiders on my Tamora. Thanks!

No - different. Should all be 16" or 18" but the dimensions are different.

Why do you ask?

Offsets are different front to rear, not at home for the correct info as to what the respective ones are though.
From memory the wheels are 8.5 inches wide for front and rear and the offsets are 42 Front and 35 Rear.

Think Cerbs used to run 4 x fronts to avoid fouling the wheelarches but could be very wrong on that one.

What are you trying to work out ?

Thanks, just checking as one of my front wheels has flat spotted, it still holds air and surprisingly it hasn't affected the balance, but it is noticeable and several people have pointed it out. I had been thinking of changing to Rotas anyway, but having been offered an 18" spider thought I might go for it but keen to check correct size (I don't have the car at home at the moment)

Thanks, so same width front and back. Is the ET marked on the wheel anywhere?

Should be on the inside of one of the spokes.

Can recommend the change to Rotas, lighter and seem to be stronger than the spiders.

So it would seem, the chap I bought it from had just replaced two Spiders - gutted that it is one of those that is now square frown I have only driven the car a couple of times and didn't even notice hitting any potholes (unlike in my C63 with ultra low profiles - on the second drive in that I slammed into an unseen pothole and was amazed that the tyre and wheel survived...)

I think the wheels fitted to LaserSag's car are Rota Torques not Rota Drifts after checking the websites. May well buy some of those although they only seem available in 8" width not the 8.5" of the originals. Also a little concerned about the offset but we'll see. The car is a Tamora but with a T350 nose - I think it was the first or second conversion carried out by Plasticman... My Chimaera is Imperial blue and that looks great on gunmetal wheels with a blue tint (standard but 16" all round) the Tamora is Red Bull blue and I'm tempted by the bronze Rotas...

The ones I had were Rota Torque drifts fronts were 8.5" and rears 9.5", lovely dished look on the rears, can't remember the offsets but weren't that different to the spiders, moved the rears out a bit from memory.
If I can find the specs will let you know.

ETA Offset were 35 front and rear.

Yes, although I am hopeless with technology so no idea how to post paperbag

The car is away having its newly upholstered seats fitted and I am also having heater elements wired up but will try and post when I get it back.

Well spotted, I hadn't seen this smile Yes, I am now the proud owner of the car featured - changes so far include completely re upholstered heated seats, new top end bluetooth Alpine stereo and likely soon to have new wheels too biggrin

Nice.

Like the bonnet mods too. I was thinking of deleting the two big holes and blending in some alternative ventilation.

Chris what's the official colour of the cream leather called? There's so many different shades and that looks the business

Wish I knew! It was a sod to get even close to the lemon/cream colour. No local retrimmers could identify it and in the end I opted to have the colour of the seats reversed so that only the very small sections are now pale which disguises any discrepancy! Glad you like it smile
