This is one of the most popular bits of PH?

I obviously can't get traffic figures, but would really interested to see what numbers this sub section is doing vs maybe 2 years ago, and vs other sections, oddly I reckon this will go on to be one of the most popular parts of PH in time...I remember when there was perhaps one new thread a day in here, or perhaps 5-10 threads that had been commented on in the last day, here we are with an entire page of threads all commented on since midday!

Lets hope it grows! And if any mod would share those numbers, I'd be interested - don't make me ring up pretending to be an advertiser

I've certainly noticed an increase since I joined 4 years ago. If stats are available it would be interesting to look at the growth compared with other sections and overall registered users.

Regardless, its great that people are getting on their bikes, getting fit or just enjoying the scenery.

It's the first sub-forum I visit each time I'm on PH (several times a day) and the one I spend most time in.

There is still a lot of opposition to cycling but I could see this being the most popular next to The Lounge and GG.

And I also take a little guilty pleasure when someone on the angry sub-forums starts spitting blood about cyclists not paying road tax, jumping lights, knocking over old ladies or whatever crap they're spewing and the mods dump it in here.

PP is certainly a great sub forum on PH. Some very knowledgeable chaps on here.

There also seems to be a strong camaraderie between the cyclists

Maybe some regular meets for cyclists would be a good idea - although half this forum seems to be in nodnoL aka London

I really, really hate that. It's pure lazy moderation. If the views expressed are unacceptable, moderate them in place, don't just dump them in here for us to argue against, disturbing the peace and causing conflict.

Imagine if someone said "Cancer victims are just defective humans and should be allowed to die", and the thread was moved to Health Matters...
