All the model shops seem to have gone from Manchester, anybody help with where I can pick up some sprays now Royal Mail have got their panties in a knot about handling it?

Cheers and happy new year to you all!

Themodeller.com will send via DPD, it means extra on the delivery charge, but the cost of the products is generally cheaper than shops so long as your buying a few, also because your paying extra for DPD you get next day delivery.

Hobbycraft may be worth a try. I have seen some Tamaya spays locally to me but never bothered looking in detail as I have an airbrush.

My local Hobbycraft sells Tamiya and Revell spray cans, but not the full range.

Royal Mail seems to be on a crusade to destroy model building as a hobby. We are now more dependent than ever on postage to be able to obtain the basic essentials for our hobby - and Royal Mail are gradually banning the carriage of some of these essentials.

Now that they are privatised, can they be sued?

Are you sure? I was in there two days ago. Only had white/grey primer and pots of Acrylic paint. Did not see any Tamiya paint sprays.

Mmm, it may have not been sprays, I remember all the other tamiya paints and some other sprays' masking tape etc though. I was just surprised to see EZ Water.

Maybe they are trying to fill old Modelzones boots?

Where are you OP?

There's an independent guy in a little village called Compstall who sells modelling stuff. I can't confirm what he stocks but he might be worth a try. He's called, and I'm not making this up, Warren Kerfoot. It's a dyslexic Googler's nightmare but I'm sure you'll find him if you're careful.

could be, Cheltenham models on ebay was still cheaper for ballast though. Handy if I get desperate for stuff though.

Notice the ground vehicles in the Airfix range are 1/76 which is OO guage also... can feel a Military show coming on next to one of my stations

They've stocked this stuff long before modelzone had difficulties.
