advice 1999 't' reg 996 tip absolutly immaculate 52k miles

I cant get having a porsche out of my head !
Ive owned a 987 boxster 2.7 but it had 'issues' so sold it on to a trader in px for a bmw e92
but since then Ive bought a nice 944 s2 but I still really hanker for a 911 as well
I went to see a 996 1999 tip in silver its absolutly immaculate 52k miles
I had a really good look around it and am planning to go back and test drive it
Ive looked at a few and this one could have just come out of the showroom in 1999
it looks so good but its a tip and I think I'd prefer a manual but I want to test drive it
to discount it
just a few questions ,I know about the issues as in IMS, cracked cylinders ,rms etc
but its the IMS that worries me most and if I was to buy one I would want to have the bearing replaced and kept open for lubrication from the engine anybody here done this on a tip and how much did it cost also what was the condition of the bearing that came out
