Don't know of 'official' recalls, but there was a problem with the radiators in some cars and mine was replaced free of charge as a precaution in the middle of 2003.

No official, or unofficial, recalls as such. Noble work on a programme of constant updating. It you get a problem it gets fixed, and if it's a reoccuring problem it gets changed on all cars from the factory.
I take it GT03DOM is your reg. number?..nice one!

I just brought the reg. from the DVLA site so not on the car yet. Seemed like a cool reg for under £500!
A couple of quick question.... how noisey are Nobles for track day's and is there any other sites/forums worth visiting?

Answers are a)embarassingly quiet, no worries over noise regs anywhere
b) No! I've found that if you have a question about anything Noble related, someone on here knows.
Oh, and get your car serviced at the factory, can't praise the level of customer care high enough.

Yep, standard exhaust - they stuck a sensor up its backside and took the reading at around 4,000 rpm as I recall!

I've got a little 5 turbo racecar which has a straight thru side exit exhuast, which sounds much louder than my Noble and that was measured at only 95 using same method,

Check out the London forum. We have monthly meets in a pub in Wapping and the occasional other drinks session. Good bunch of guys and girls, lots of car banter and drinks.
Hope the cars going well. Fantastic things. My bro's still tempted but maybe not until next summer.

If you've bought it from a dealer then don't worry - all the tweaks and mods will certainly have been done.
The car's are suprisingly noisy when cold on the normal track day measurements. A good hint is to take it for a good warm up first, and tell them that it redlines at 6500rpm, as normally they do it at 2/3rds max revs, and the engine gets a lot noiser after around 4500rpm.
There is the London meet above, and I often pop down to the SE London / NW Kent TVRCC meet - they always like to see a Noble turning up and are a great friendly bunch (despite owning TVR's
)

Thanks for the tips etc. I will follow your advice and take the car to Noble for it's services etc.
As to the how noisey I just found my sound meter so I'll take some readings later in the week and post the results, I plan to do at least a dozen track days next year including a couple of european trips with my brother in his 355 F1...any suggestions?
The one concern I have left is the need for a track day sump, do you all recommend this and if so how much will it cost? Also what make/spec. brake pads are you using as I believe the standard ones are a bit soft.
I will try and make a meet, problem is I'm based in Chiswick and I live in Weybridge, Surrey.

Track day sump is *essential* if you track it. Read my site and you'll find out why.....
You can change the pads to DS2500's which work better on the track - ~£100 and they are dead easy to fit yourself, just turn the wheel so the calipers are "outwards", jack up the car, take the wheel off and you'll then see the pads are held in by two long bolts.
Get a M6 or similar bolt, place it in the "small pilot hole" on the outside caliper, gently knock it with a spanner or similar until the bolt pops out of the other side.
Repeat on the other one, remembering which way up the metal "leaf spring" goes.
Press the calipers out using a scredriver against the old pads until they are pressed all the way back in, and then replace the pads. The pads are held in by a small "spring" top and bottom, so line them up straight and press quite hard.
Use the new bolts, and press them in, putting the leaf spring back in as you do. Tap them all the way in using an appropiate tool until they are firmly secured.
Dead easy!
