I came across this in my search for a better job and thought someone might be able to put it to good use?

I'm not the point of contact or anything like that.

It's okay, you only need a Porsche licence.

Nope I am but a lowly ex squaddie searching for hgv work/door work and I came across this. Not literally you understand. Though I did harbour intentions of applying till I read the criteria and a little bit of my soul wilted away. Oh well, hope someone from PH can jump on it and it is what they are after.

It was a poor attempt at humour, what with you saying you weren't happy at your current employment...

I wonder what sort of salary these guys get. Does anyone know what a motoring journo is likely to earn? Just being nosey.

I bet they get a million dreamers applying for the position. I do know somebody who would be perfect for it though and I'm hoping he applies.

I think that is a very interesting question. Since Pistonheads employs an ex Evo writer (I believe) perhaps they could ask him for a guide?

In the meantime it states "Desired salary". I've simply put (not enough space for all the noughts". smile

"The gearchange had the nuggety quality of a box of 20 of McDonald's finest, and as I approached the sinuous exit slip for the A18 I snicked it into fourth, turning the wheel with a blossom-like delicacy until I felt the Nankang Ditchfinders writhing subtly beneath me like a wounded reptile..."

That should qualify me for a senior writer's position, yes? wink
