Tuscan seats for Griff
Discussion
Greetings. The seats in my Griff are now showing their age and I was thinking about a refurb. I notice some people have put the Tuscan seats in. They look great IMO but is it an easy fit or is there some reconstruction required. Also, is it worth the while, as in, are they as good as they look or would I get castrated for breaking away from the standard ? Thx4input

You aren't limited to just Tuscan seats. I have Cerbera seats in my Griff and they just bolt in. They do lift you in the car about an inch, so you need to be aware of how much headroom you Currently have. I'm not sure if the Tuscan seats do this.
The beauty of Tuscan seats is they are no higher at the seating area and you can take the inserts out and sit even lower which is perfect for track days as it gives extra support. They are slightly higher at the front but this doesn't impact on sitting height.I fitted Tuscan seats to my *cough*Chim*cough* within about 3 weeks of ownership. The difference is night and day. I fitted them using the Tuscan runners.
The griff may be different but on the chim it's important to remember that you have to use the existing front chassis holes and re drill the rears. If you re drill the fronts, you'll quickly find that the position of the hole is directly above one of the chassis rails.
I also happen to think the seats look fabulous!
