I heard this on Radio 4 this morning.
You can buy a new car only through a state run dealer.
The prices are a bit steep.
The example given was for a Peugeot 806 at £150,000 or thereabouts.
If I heard right then you read right - One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Pounds.
About Eight times the price in the rest of the world.
