Assuming that you aren't one of the limp wristed, tree hugging, wet behind the ears mummies boys or girls who have vowed to detox in January and plan to still enjoy the odd tipple in the New Year then give this Italian red a go.

I tried it in an Italian restaurant in Bath just after Christmas and enjoyed it so much I've just ordered a case.

10% discount on a case and no delivery charge means it's £5.85 a bottle and for that it's a steal.

Very smooth drinking and a far better everyday wine than any of the supermarket plonk at similar money.
