Hi,

I think I have decided to get a 3.0d Range Rover Vogue to replace my van. As it'll be a second car it may be stood around for a few weeks, i've heard the batteries go flat after two days, is this true? Also what millage would I be best buying? I seem to have noticed many of the 130k mile ones have had new gear boxes, should I steer clear of anything around the 100k miles as many appear to have lots of work done around this level.

Thanks

xuy

The gearboxes are fragile.

Look for one with evidence of a replacement from a reputable supplier, or budget for a replacement.

The last for 70-100k on average.

gearboxes are chocolate....budget £2k ish for a replacement recon

batteries....often final stage resistor has failed, £50 and half an hour fix....

heated seats often fail

They have frailties but even a high miler Vogue for £8K ish is a great car to own
