After looking at the 'surprising weight' thread, I thought it would be interesting to see both my own and other peoples cars PTW.

Parkers should give you vehicle weight:
http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/reviews/facts-and-fi...

The Westfield calculator looks good which shows some comparisons of your results:
http://westfield-world.com/power-to-weight.html

(sm) designates slightly modified.

PTW/0-60

Lotus Elise S: 157.28 (5.9)
MGF VVC (sm): 137.61 (6.9)est
Lancia Integrale 16v Evo2: (sm) 200 (5.5)est
Mercedes 320 clk: 161.99 (7.6)
Hilux DC Invincible 3.0 D-4D: 90.72 (11.9)

Pretty meaningless in the real world - ignores torque and driveability.

Probably a good job he wasn't asking about torque and driveability then.

As opposed to that magical fantasy world where people know how to use a gearbox?

You have so much horsepower to even care what your Power to Weight Ratio is :-)
I'm happy with that.

According to that calcultor 200bhp/ton car only and 190.95 with me sat in it.

Quoted 0-60 is 5.0s but reviews have managed it in 4.6s

So you, and a tank of fuel, only make 15bhp/ton difference to an Elise? I doubt that.

The 195 is also with a full tank of fuel. So just me makes a 15bhp/tonne difference (actually the weight figure without me was about 3/4 of a tank, but close enough).

I'm pretty sure everyone knows the best way to use a gearbox is change up at 2000 revs or less, and never exceed 30mph in any gear but 5th - or 6th if you have it.

My power to weight ratio is 120 bhp/tonne.

The C1 is about 83bhp p/t, which I imagine is about the same as a 116d.
