MOT near central London

Does anyone know of a garage that could do the MOT, and general ongoing repairs, near central London?

Looked on the FAQs, and called Nicholas Mee, but they only do heritage (mine is an 07 V8V). I could give it to Stratstone, but I'd prefer something more personal.

Please don't mention Bamford Rose - I may end up taking it there, but it's a pain to take at least a day off and drive up there from London.

For MOT I can suggest Handman Collns, just off Connaught Square (nr Marble Arch). I get mine done there all the time. Speak to John the owner. They are not an Aston specialist but as you can imagine with their location they are used to such super cars. Last time I was there they were restoring a lovely E-Type Jag and a V8 was being serviced.

I would recommend Aston Service London by the Westfield shopping centre. It is run by the old Ian Mason team. Following Ian's retirement it is run by Desmond Smail.

Are you sure Nick Mee can't do it? They did some work on my 08 V8V, and can service current cars, so I'd very surprised.

Other than that there's Stratstone's, but they're way out in Park Royal, which is painful to get to, they will collect but probably charge if it's just an MOT.

Oh, there's Trinity too, but they're out by the M25.

There are a couple of other places in London but their reputation is mixed at best. I have no personal experience with anyone other than Stratstones, Nick Mee, and Trinity, I would use either of them all without hesitation.

My DB9 is given to North One Services at Tufnell Park for any warranty/windscreen/MOT work. Good personal service, fast and efficient.
