Hi Peeps...Just wondered if anyone has a boot spoiler knocking about for beer tokens...Im after the 400SE type..The one that overhangs the rear wings...Im not too fussed about condition as it will get sprayed...Cheers...Ziga

You need a SEAC whale tail zig! wink TET mouldings do a 400se boot spoiler for £150 I think, was going to get one for Del to sort out her bare bootlid.

You don't like the sleek no spoiler look then Mark?

I am really torn between the two looks. My car has no spoiler and I wanted one as soon as I got the car. Now I have had the car for a year I can't make my mind up which I prefer.

Well i was going to put one on Delilah but never did as i liked her how she was..I just wondered if anyone had one lying about as I'm going to have the boot re-sprayed at some point and thought i might give it a try on the 350i....

My car has the spoiler your after fitted (I think).....only problem is it makes the boot lid very heavy! It he one on mine is a hefty bit of kit!

Yip, here it is on mine:

I need to hold the boot up with a wooden stick, could be dodgy gas rams mind but it's still heavy compared to my old car without the spoiler! I do like it though :-)

I love the look of mine.! Also I added a little stiffer pair of struts to hold the boot up. Only problem is hitting the antenna if the radio is on. I suppose I could add a micro switch to retract the antenna if the trunk is opened. Grady

Definitely need stronger gas struts for the boot lid with a spoiler on, on mine if I am pointing downhill its fine but on the flat or pointing uphill and I need something to stop the bootlid braining me!
I do have some new struts but I havent got around to fitting them yet.
