Amigos,

There's a strong burning smell coming from the engine bay. You can't really smell it from inside the car but once you step outside it's quite strong even after a short journey. I'd hazard to say it's not a plastic, rubbery or even electrical odour. I can't be any more specific than that I'm afraid!

A bit vague but any ideas???

If you cant find it by looking and carefully checking round the engine, I suggest a quick visit to Wilmslow or Bridgemill.
And an extinguisher.....

I can't find anything from sticking my head in the engine. Yeah it will ultimately have to go to Wilmslow cos I doubt it's something simple!

Keep an open mind. I put mine in for a rattle that was hard to find. Took them a couple of days or so, thought I was going to have my pants pulled down. turned out to be quite reasonable and well sorted. In fact, a cracking good set of engineers.
It might be simple.

I doubt it.

I've spent the majority of my ownership with my pants down and not in a good way!
