doors frozen

Got up this morning to find that my doors opened and then to my frustration had frozen in the locked position and so i can't shut the doors.Have tried WD40/Deicer/Hot water with NO success.

Is this a common fault?as the car sits out in the open and we had a hard frost last night out here in Deepest Scotland.

Im confused! How did you manage to open your doors if they were frozen in the locked position?! And why can't you shut them?

I'd have thought they would have defrosted by now though.
