I've been here a while but it was waremark's comment about his father's DB4 finally prompted me to join. I've owned a DB4 for a few years, some of you may have seen it at the Gaydon Inn carpark meet before the AML visit. Unfortunately I can't post a picture from this machine but you can google it under "DB4 Gaydon". The car was in Ware in the late 60s, hence my question of Mark

When it comes to pretty cars, that falls under the category of "Epic".

Welcome and glad to see you here.

Hi thanks very much for posting the pics, yes that's my rotbox, always repaired never restored and certainly not a concours queen. It'll be out and about again after the winter.

It was great to see a car like yours being used regularly and not just being kept in a hermetically sealed bubble

Wonderful car. Thanks for sharing. I'm sure that there will be an opportunity to get our DB4s together in 2014.

Thanks Hornbaek, look forward to that opportunity. I see your DB4 is a 1961, mine is the prototype Series 5 Vantage from 1962, mildly modified at that time by AML for use as a press road test car (Car & Driver July 1963) and works demonstrator till the DB5 was introduced. It was also used in a TV series called The Sentimental Agent
