Sky multiroom two dishes on my house
Discussion
I hope this is the right section for this post.
When I moved into my house in the summer and got sky installed, the engineer fitted a new dish mid way allong the house adjacent to my lounge as the previous location was a decent distance away. The old dish is located on one end of the house which was used for a kind of self contained flat/annex for the previous owners elderly father who loved his footie!
We've now done up this part of the house and will be getting a lodger in, it is part of our house though. If the new tenant would like sky, could I upgrade my account to multiroom, though rather than run cabling along the house, utilise the dish that has cabling straight into what will be their sitting area?
So essentially, same house/subscription, but using two dishes (and cabling) that are already in existence rather than creating further cabling.
On a side note, I was tempted to upgrade my current box to the large memory 2Tb version. Could I then just ask for a multiroom viewing card and subs, connect the old box up myself? It's not tricky and I've connect the box up a few times on previous house moves.
Thanks in advance
