We have had one of these for 3 years and in that time it has made use over 6000 coffees. It is an amazing machine and at this price it is at least half price and to good to miss.

This is so tempting, we have even thought of buying one as a spare!

Happy Coffee Making.

Mmm that looks tempting, could be a replacement for my aged and well used Nespresso machine.

Just one thing though-I drink caffeinated and my partner de caffeinated. With the Nespresso it is easy to do one cup after the other due to the 1 cup 1 capsule system. How would you do it with this machine?

They don't seem to have any of those machines in any stores that I could think of trying on the website. They won't post one, so a bit odd.

Thanks. If it was just me, I'd grab that. Back in the real world, her indoors will only use one that does the frothing for her. Think I'll have to stump up for some other Delonghi.

My parents have this machine, it is very good as the OP said. The quality is great!!

Unfortunately I cannot justify £400 on a coffee machine but if I could I would not hesitate to buy it!

Picked mine up today and had a trial run this evening-it makes a very nice coffee but its bloody noisy!

Just out of interest I reserved one then found there was another available near to a location I was travelling to today.I could not cancel my first reservation so there will be one coming back on the system at the Stockport branch this evening or in the morning if anyone else really wants one.

What are the best coffee beans? My partner bought a jar of illy ones from Tesco to try and they taste nice.Anything better?

Finally managed to get the 5500B after a few false starts. Had to pick one up about 70 miles from home, but I had reason to go that way anyway. Got a further 8% off using a deal via work to further sweeten the transaction.

This place is run by a ph'er and has a wide variety. No link other than want to see him do well as only recently started out and was giving away early roast attempts to fellow ph'ers in return for feedback and seems like a nice chappie.
