Extended footwell brake lines and wiring
Discussion
Here's a pic of my stab at it. As you can see I'm running all SS hard lines. I had to remove all of this work as the steering shaft runs directly over the top of the brake pedal. With my size 13 feet, brake operation would have been impossible. After a discussion with the factory, I'm adding another short shaft with two ujoints to move the shaft over between the gas and brake
I'll be glad to share additional info.

Use the brake foot switch kit and the lights will come on as soon as you touch the pedal, rather than once pressure was built up.
I'd agree. Not an expensive option and was told that as its a light car you can slow the car down quite a bit with a light touch that might not trigger the pressure switch. Easy to fit too, especially during the build.mt308 said:

easy to adjust to switch on for even a light touch too.Justaredbadge said:

This! I'm finding the same issue with the Ult that I had with the Atom: The car slows down just by taking your foot off the gas, so unless you're hammering a braking zone, you don't need to use the middle pedal too much! I tend to just brush the brake pedal to put the lights on for people following, even tho' I might not be needing any actual stopping force. The foot pedal switch allows this before any pressure it actually put into the brakes themselves. Worth considering for road use.Gassing Station | Ultima | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
