Clubman truck racing?
Discussion
We all know there are lots of "clubman" events for young classic sports cars, such as 80s saloon car cups, 90s sports car challenges etc. These, of course, use road going cars that drivers have stripped out and only lightly modded for racing (such as wheels, tyres, cage etc).
Now, we also know that truck racing is pretty spectacular. But having started out with roadgoing trucks, the series is now for pure race bred machines. There is nothing on the BTRA website about an amateur level clubman series for older road trucks. Does anyone else reckon this would make a brilliant series? If I had the money to fund a season, i'd certainly jump at the change to race in such a thing!
