Hi Guys,

Anyone know this car or anything about it ?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321289749897?ssPageName=...

It obviously has a none standard one piece bonnet which I have never seen before. I am considering it as a project to get me busy until the sun comes back out ..

Thoughts appreciated

That is the original bonnet although it looks to be damaged beyond repair, the stripeis not original and has been added, the headlamps are missing, also no fromt bumper/valance, I suspect that it is going to need alot of money spent on it, a new bonnet is around 6/7 K alone, although you may be able to get a undamaged one from a breaker for less. Sadly at that price you would be better breaking it!!! Complete good ones are around K30.

So for once the old chestnut.... 'bonnet is carbon fibre...which is ten grand new' is for once, relevant here....OP, you really ought to price up what you can see needs replacing on the car before bidding...use Eurospares' site as a rough guide.

Several below £30K with similar mileage and that is only the asking price and then there will be a significant discount for the fact that it is a Cat D, as well as being difficult to sell. My guess is you could wait six months to get £20K when it owes you £25-30K. Sadly, this is a breaker IMO.
