New ML W164 Driver

Hi, just introducing myself here as a new ML driver and member of PH.

Ive had the car nearly 3 months now and covered a staggering 1300 miles and loved them all. Just back from a trip up to John O'Groats in it and returned 30mpg :-)

I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for ML’s as my folks are on their 4th now. It’s due for a change this year so I guess they’ll be ordering yet another.

Welcome, we have an ML for general hack/dogs and winter fun. Dream of 30mpg, lucky to get 1/2 that!!

I've got the ML63, single figure mpg for me half the time! Not complaining, it's some car!

I thought I'd break up the thread a bit and say I've never sat in or owned an ML

Just to go back to the thread....I'm on my second ML. I really like them. But I have a feeling some people on this forum think they look like a "barge"!

Just wait until the snow comes......after investing in winter tyres for mine, I will be gutted if no snow comes this year....

Bought a low miles 2006 model myself 8 months ago to do a bit of towing. . .10,000 miles later I have to say I'm pretty impressed. Averaged 25mpg over the 10k (320CDI) and on a long run up to the West Coast and back to Edinburgh we got around 30mpg which I was happy with. It's a big old boat but the loving the ownership.

This is about as much mud as it will ever see though!
