TX-P42X50 Vs. TX-P42X60 (Digital Direct)

It's the bit before the series ('x') that defines screen size (42) with the Panasonics - the bit after is the 'generation'.
I'd be surprised if the panel's any different between the two, as I believe Panasonic stopped developing the 'HD Ready' panels quite a while ago (that's not to say they're not still a very decent buy though!)... I'd expect any differences to be cosmetic/ software/ connectivity based.

Looks to me from a look at some reviews, particularly on AV forums (I'm intrigued too now!) that the 60 generation has as a certain element of 'cost-down' in terms of the hardware (smaller remote, no SD Card slot) but gains from from having more advanced picture calibration options in the user menus - dunno if that helps!
