Groundhog day?

1% of people are idiots when:-
Walking/Riding a Horse/Cycling/Driving

99% or people are perfectly nice & reasonable when:-
Walking/Riding a Horse/Cycling/Driving

I expect the same 1% is a numpty when doing any of the above.

As someone who occasionally rides a bike I think I can speak for all cyclists everyway when I say I fully support this chap.

At the last meeting of the SCGB (Sociopathic Cyclists of Great Britain - its actually real Nigel, not just in your head)it was decided that all children under 10, kittens, puppies and fluffy bunnies are all now fair game on pedestrian crossings.

confused Why on earth would they do that? That's like saying people on here will support someone who gets drunk then jumps in a car and mows down a row of school children because we all like driving.

Anyone who can hot a child after blatently breaking the law and then leave them unconcious is a prize cocksocket. I doubt you'll find a single cyclist who would even try and defend him. If they do, then they to are idiots.

Steve - cyclist.

Because there are many cyclists who although wouldnt go as far as the person in the article, believe its perfectly ok to ignore the rules of the road because they believe they know best or believe the rules dont quite apply to them for some bizare reason.

bit like the dude that was complaining a few weeks ago he got a ticket for running a red light when he 'only went over the line' to sit at the junction.

the irony is that cyclists expect car drivers to treat them by the rules all the time :s

Your topic title is even more deliberately misleading that the Daily Mail's. Now that's an achievement.

Other than that, I do and will continue to "run red lights" on my bike in London when it is far safer for me (and no danger to anyone else) to do so.

As to what anyone thinks, I could not give a hoot, my life is more important to me than anyone's opinion by an inestimable magnitude.

rofl And drivers don't do this? How many people on here don't consider it OK to break the speed limit in some situations?

A bit like on this thread for instance:
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Where quite a lot of posters seemed to think racing on the road is ok, even describing the tt who killed himself and 2 of his mates as "fallen soldiers"

Irony! How about massive hypocrisy, just whilst we're judging all road users by the worst behaviour of their peers.

absolutely - two wrongs dont make a right and all that. speeding cars is not an excuse or a reason to go through junctions on red lights, sit right on the corner or edge of a junction whilst the lights are on red, hover in the middle of a junction waiting for a gap whilst their direction of travel is on red etc.

Just had a look at your profile and you have an R32? Nice car.
Hope you never, ever break a single speed limit in it??
