Hi,

Hopefully this is in the right place to start off with smile

I need to fit new brake pads on my GQV. It has got more power now than standard as Ive had a new exhaust & remap to 300bhp so want to fit upgraded pads/discs as the standard stuff on the car at the moment will need replacing soon. i have done of bit of searching and found the discs are 330mm x28mm which is the same as they use on the 3.2 & 2.4 brera's and 159's, that was the easy bit. After a bit of searching for pads though i have found that the GQV uses difrent pads to the 159/Brera as the GQV has 'pegs' to locate it in the caliper which stop the pads from rattling in the caliper which the 159/Brera doesn't have.

i have seen some tarox sport japan discs for the 159/Brera which will fit, i know theres no real need for drilled/grooved etc on road cars and they can be noisy but tbh i dont mind that and i like the look of them more than standard discs laugh they'll be useful for trackdays though so not completly useless smile

i can't seem to find any upgraded pads listed for the Giulietta QV though, the only place i can find anything is here -->

After a bit more looking and using the part number from the gazzella racing website --> SP2603-112

when i put 'tarox SP2603-112' into google it comes up with pads for an EVO X 08> --

and also a Vovlo S60 2.5T AWD --

from what it says on those links, they both use brembo calipers but then the bit i'm getting confused about is when i look on motorsportworld the brera also has the same part number which apparently won't fit?

does anyone know if the brake pads on the Evo or Volvo listed above have these locating pegs on them? or even better, is anyone changing brake pads on either of those cars at the moment who could take a photo and post it for me to see? (or know where i can find a photo of what they look like?)

i wouldn't have thought the GQV would be the only car to have this set up, unless im wrong surely brembo would make the caliper and which ever car manufacturer would use them on their car? as long as i can find out which other cars use this caliper and have the locating pegs on the back it will be a lot easier trying to find the upgraded pads now, and in the future

Cheers
