which cheap car speakers?

following on from my which car cd player think i will upgrade my speakers first as fancy listening to my old tapes for a while!

Its for an old land rover defender. Not after perfect sound but loud and able to distinguish the song!

Must'nt look chavvy!

Any recommendations / advice?

Seem some great discounts around - for example these sonys were £99.99 now £18?!?

just after replacing the front 2 ones at the mo then adding 2 at the back later on.

Big brand name car audio manufacturers cosmetically alter their products regularly because it is a mature market and there really isn't much technical development going on, especially with speakers which are as much a fashion item as anything. As a result old models get heavily discounted.
