Mike at Sports and Classic for me and my GT3, and my Cayman S before that. Can't recommend him highly enough. I am completely anal about the mechanical side of my cars. I've always had top notch service and it's nice to have someone that takes 100% pride in their work working on your car.

Unit 11 in Warrington. Ninemeister also in Warrington. Have used both, prefer Unit 11
Hi,I've just dropped my new 993 off at Ninemeister for some cosmetic & mechanical work. I'd be interested to hear why you preferred Unit 11; I haven't used either in the past, but chose Ninemeister because they're a one-stop shop for paint & mechanicals.
Thanks.

For what its worth; I had an excellent experience with Hartech, and a very poor one with Ninemeister.
Hartech collected and returned my car foc after an official Porsche part failed that they had fitted. They exceeded my expectations when putting right a situation that lesser companies might have swerved.
Ninemeister on the other hand........did not.

Mike @ Sports & Classic. Has been looking after my 996 X50 Turbo for 18 months.
Very professional, knows the cars inside out and takes a lot of pride in his workmanship. Not used anyone else, I have been very pleased with Mike and he is my first and last port of call if I have anything I'm not sure about for my Turbo.
Highly recommended.

I totally agree the best Performance car garage in the North West by far. Have all sorts of nice cars in for serving F50/ Ferrari 250 Lusso's. Hartech one of the worst ones with their fixed priced servicing plan. Followed by Loebank who are living off what servicing was 20 years ago !!!
I think you should clarify what your comments refer to. We first introduced our Lifetime Maintenance Plan 12 years ago and it has been a roaring success ever since (and copied more recently by many others including domestic appliance service organisations and other garages).
It is only an option and no one makes you go on it but it provides free labour for repairs (even engine rebuilds if ever needed), has no age or time or mileage limit, and services cars more frequently than the manufacturers demand for no additional costs. Those on it pay monthly, can transfer it on sale and can come off it whenever they like without penalty - and we honour our obligations under it.
It is in my view disgraceful to criticise a respected business without substantiating why (so we can respond accordingly) and if you cannot do so I would advise you to consider withdrawing the comment. To imply we are not good at our work because we offer a service plan without explaining why smacks of other issues behind the comment.
We may only specialise in Porsche's but we have become the World's leading experts on engine rebuilds for them, Won the Porsche Club Motor Sport Championship and Team Award in 2013 (in our second only season racing our own race prepared cars with 100% engine reliability) and have a superb reputation.
We may not be the best (although we try to be) and certainly are very new to Motor Sport (and so don't have the credentials of some others involved in it yet). We also do not have Ferrari's etc here to lust after - we but are honest and professional and do not take lightly to such purile comments.
Is someone so worried about honest competition they resort to this kind of comment. We never criticise our opposition - just concentrate on what we do and try to do it as well as we possibly can and look after our customers and their cars.
One additional point to take note of is that by and large the Ferrari owners will be on average wealthier than the average Porsche owner - partly because there are so many more Porsche in existence and partly because they do not need such frequent or expensive servicing. Our Maintenance Plan is mainly aimed at owners who aspire to Porsche ownership, can afford to buy a car (at varying prices) but would struggle to pay for sudden major costs if they were unlucky enough to experience a rare but expensive failure.
For these owners our Plan offers a modest monthly payment and then when their service is due they pay nothing for the labour or parts and receive a free MOT. For cars that have no problems therefore this enables an owner to budget monthly to receive reliable and regular services at least annually (or even more frequently if required).
Then if anything does need repairing (from wear and tear parts like brakes and coolant pumps etc right up to an engine failure) they only pay for the parts (which is a fraction of the cost of either a new engine from Porsche or a rebuilt one at full price since they are so labour intensive to work on).
This enables those thinking of probably buying cars in the £10K to say £40K bracket - an opportunity to own a brilliant Sports car without it causing severe financial problems if things go wrong or wear out.
It helps prospective owners decide to stretch to a more expensive purchase of a newer car or better model knowing they will not have to resort to finding thousands of pounds if things go wrong.
It may very well be the case that people with greater financial resources do not need such a Plan and can afford to cover sudden problems anyway and not only could be in the market for a Ferrari - but can also afford to have their Porsche cars looked after at a location where a variety of more exotic cars are being worked on.
Finally, in terms of experience, equipment, facilities and focus - a business that specialises in only one make of car and is involved in designing and repairing components to reduce failures and improve reliability will always do a better job and offer more facilities for that make than a similar business that sees less of that make (to base their experience and attention on) because they also spread their capabilities over more models and makes of car.
Our Maintenance Plan may well not be the best answer for all Porsche owners nor Ferrari owners - but for a very large proportion it is the only way to avoid expensive problems and the only one that does not have an age or mileage limit nor an age or mileage price penalty and for many it has encouraged them to experience Porsche ownership which they might otherwise have declined. This is hardly something that requires such an unsubstantiated criticism from someone who is clearly intent on an elitists view of the World and forgets there are others that need reliable affordable services from experts that do nothing else.
