The infamous aig bond miselling

I need some help,I had a lot of money invested in an AIG bond sold to me by credit suisse .MY business partner had the same bond but sold to him by barclays.
We both along with many others lost substantial sums,but he got a phone call yesterday from barclays telling him they were going to repay him quite a lot of money.
Has anyone who invested with credit suisse had anything similar ,as it seems all the banks have accepted some responsibility for it,except for credit suisse.

If you believe you were mis-sold have you formally complained to CS? If you have they should have advised you at some point of your rights to go to the ombudsman. UBS were find by FCA last year - worth reading the final notice and seeing if you can use it to help in your claim. It is a long time ago though - if you haven't been pushing it you may well be time barred by now.
