On the face of it a simple enough question you'd think but there seems to be some 'haziness' over this on the Tuscan forum so I'll ask here.

"T Car" is a term I bump up against every now and then and as its been given a title its only reasonable to assume that it has a definition.

Over on the Tuscan forum the definitions have ranged from:

"Aren't T cars Tamora and derivative cars therefore Tamora, T350, Sag, T400, T440 and Typhon. But not Tuscan 1? Not sure about Tuscan2?"

to:

"Tuscan, Tamora, T350 and err Sagaris. So Speed 6 engined cars after the Tuscan is the usual defining factor as far as I'm aware."

Anyone know who coined the term and what the intention was at that point?

I have a Mk1 Tuscan so am I in or out? laugh

You're in. My definition is the correct one; Tuscans and onwards using the 'T' name. It was/is a general term coined in the early days to identify the Speed 6 cars as distinct from the RV8 etc cars. Spoilt of course by the Sagaris not starting with T. smile
