What is it with Chim drivers and their roofs ?
Discussion
Having spent three hours this afternoon "hooning" around Southern Surrey & Northern Sussex celebrating the fine weather and the fact that my running in period has finished IYGMD.
I see three Chims - all with their roofs on
- I mean they can't all be carrying their golf clubs surely
The weather was chilly but clear, bright and very sunny. We may not get many more lovely weekends in the next few weeks, seems a shame to waste the oppourtunity - still there's nought so funny as folk I suppose.

roofless today as were two other chimaeras in Godalming. Also passed a roofless z4, boxster and s2000.
Godalming convertible massiv out in force today.
Strangely the merc drivers had roofs on.
Fantastic drive... popped to sainsburys at 11.45am...didn't return home til after 3pm... it's amazing just how many places you *have* to drive to when it's sunny.

Would it be possible to have just one sunny day this year that doesn't result in a thread from the
ing 'Convertible Police' moaning about people who haven't put their roof down?
FFS, we all bitch on here on PH about free will and being allowed to make our own choices without being told what to do by other people, yet have to put up with this tired old crap from our own members.

Exactly. I'm not going to pi$$ around to get the roof off if I'm only going 2 miles to then park up for a few hours in a car park.
Why assume anyone with the roof still on is out just for a pleasure drive, but it's always their choice anyway.

Anyone heard anything of the proposed new easy-to-use Leven Griffith/Chimaera roof? I guess not, or there would be something posted on PH by now.
OI!
I'm in the front of the queue!
When they become available, I'll let you know. We've been out in Wol in the Teddies today, Lorraine had to have a hot shower when we got home to warm up, ahhhhhhh.

I know, that's already been on Wol, at Pistonfest. Fits a treat.
The only way I could get the top off yesterday was to leave it at home as the boot is still full of burriana500's BTaP raffle prize. Should be emptied today though and normal service will be resumed.
Was a bit cold this morning but got out for a blast before giving the car a wash. The coldest I think I have endured so far was -6C on the way down to devon & Cornwall's new year meet 2 years ago - now that was cold.
Roof off at every opportunity.
