I'm going to be looking for some large pictures for my house at some point in the next few months. I'd like to put some high resolution digital images through photoshop to alter style or colours to match the room, then send them off to be printed on a large canvas.

At the moment I'm struggling to find a suitably priced source for the images; I found a couple through Flickr, but they were £250-300 each to license them. Nice pictures, but way above budget! I looked at the Getty website, but couldn't find a way to buy for personal use and they seem to be a similar price.

Anyone got any ideas where I can buy decent high resolution images from for a good bit less?

Thanks

I don't know, hoping to find somewhere to browse for ideas.

Only on my phone, that Flickr album looks pretty good, 8' x 4' forth bridge would like ace, thought doubt I would get sign-off from the boss. Are those pics available to buy fairly cheaply?

Have a look through the random photos threads (there has been a few) plenty of us on here sell images and will be happy to see if we can do a deal.

Cheers. Funnily enough somebody got one of the bridge pics printed large recently and it did look ok if I say so myself!

PM me if interested smile

You say canvas but have you considered the direct print onto aluminuim dibond available at https://uk.whitewall.com/ I had one done recently and it came out really well and I would say good value (but not cheap).

P.S. If you are looking for images, check out their "Art Market" - but again, I doubt that you would have the chance to download or edit these - but you should/may be able to choose the size and the media that it gets printed on but you may find cheaper options...
