Hi there,
I recently had my classified ad hijacked by scammers...

Somebody I originally spoke to has had a reply back from a scammer who has now hijacked my advert (see link). They are trying to sell it for 2.5k in Spain...claiming to be a foreign student.

Not sure how they hijacked it but I reckon it is down to a suspicious email reply I got to my ad at the start.

Can you please delete this advert so that nobody is hooked into this..?

Also, can you delete the profile attached to the advert as presumably the scammer now has lots of my details...Do they have my card details?
I would REALLY appreciate an answer to this regarding how much information is contained in profiles...

Did you click on a link on the 'unusual' email you got after the ad was posted and do you still have this email?

Hi guys,

thanks for the feedback / help. I dont still have a copy of it. But it was along the lines of claiming another car similar to mine was available at half the price (OK so in hindsight I should have spotted it as a scam)...

I have reported the ad now (I only found it thanks to a guy on another site who recognised it but questioned the steep drop in price and was now interested in buying lol).

The advert is still there this morning. Not a great response time given it was reported via the link on the advert last night.
