I've got one of these on order from Rolex and even though i've fully committed i'd like to know what you think of yours having worn it for a while. I'm quite excited as i think its quite a watch for the money. Tried on one a couple of weeks back and ordered straight away. I liked it more than the equivalent Sub!

I've had one about 6 months now and love it. And I'm guessing one of the few people that actually dive with one.

Lightweight, adjustable clasp, +6 seconds/day, 3D textured dial, outstanding contrast of hands against dial. I bought mine through Iconic Watches.

If I had to give a -ve, it would be that I'm not over-keen on the snowflake hour hand, but accept there's some heritage in the design.

Go for it !!

Will follow this thread with interest!

I really want one but I am not sure I can justify one with the Rolex dive watches in my collection...

Hi, I bought one last week in Val D'Isere (still here) and I'm REALLY REALLY enjoying it, feels a bit "different", if you charge the lume when you got to bed you will feel as though you are 10 again!

I've got an SD, a DSSD and am looking at a coke GMT as we speak... I only sold my ND Sub a few weeks back and have a Seiko dive watch on at the moment...

I also think I may prefer the Black Bay to the Pelagos but I can't bear a watch without a date for some reason, anymore!

I really need both Tudors in my life - LOL!

It's a having a Deepsea which has stopped me getting a Pelagos. Not sure I'd wear it frown

Oh wow, excellent taste, despite what seems like EVERYONE'S lobe for the Black Bay I wasn't a massive fan, THEN last week I saw a guy wearing one (on the strap) and I thought it looked FANTASTIC and no way could you say that they are similar so you could EASILY justify both! :-)

I was all wound up about a barely worn 2006 Pepsi GMT before Christmas but I just couldn't do it, something didn't grab me like I expected it to when I put it on, but if it's grabbed you then good luck!!!!

It's kind of like having a new Range Rover and a really nice Defender IMHO!

Exactly my point... Two watches almost identical in philosophy and not thaaaaaat different in look. I think my SD would get more wear...

I just think the Black Bay is so 'pretty' where the Pelagos seems more 'functional'?!

I also have a hankering for a GMT because, well, I live 6hrs TD from home and do transatlantic at least once a month so it may be quite 'useful'. Granted, it would only save me about 1 second of maths a couple of times a day wink

Good feedback so far. Got a couple of weeks before mine arrives so you're keeping morale up.

If I didn't own the Rolexs, the Pelagos and Black Bay would be the first watches on my wrist! You should be very excited indeed!

I have 2 (identical) phones... One se to US timezone and one to UK... So, when I travel, I need to pull the right one out of the right pocket... A GMT on the wrist would be far easier...

At least that's what I keep telling my bank account wink I also wanted something with colour and the BB would do that job but I need a date, I reckon!

I'm not convinced by the Black Bay. It's a lovely watch to look at but just not me. Possibly, at 32 i'm still a bit young in the 'heritage' watch game. Maybe when I'm 40 or so the likes of the BB will be more to my taste and appearance. Maybe that's why i've gone for the Pelagos over the Sub this time.......just more me!

Yeah, must get REALLY tricky with those pockets!!!!! :-)

I tried on a blue / black GMT and liked it way more than I expected, my regular GMT2C has a bit of a personal story so couldn't sell it to buy one! (And DEFINITELY can't justify both)

I hate having things in my pocket wink Plus, until I quit; where do my fags go? Maybe if I lost some weight I'd have more room wink

I don't fancy the all black or blue/red but there's just something right (to me) about the black/red combo!

They'r also pretty good value on the 2nd hand market, over here...

Honestly, yes, I'll probably cave and have a Black Bay, Pelagos and GMT2 by March, which will be my 35th, so I deserve it, right?! wink

So, please keep these Tudor threads coming to bankrupt me! I am meant to be saving money to come home!
