I currently have a set of compomotives and two scruffy sets of original noble wheels.

I am looking for a new set to replace one of the originals and not sure where to start.

Can anyone help with contacts for new wheels (Not factory) or sale of set of used compomotives or speedlines.

Cheers

Barry

Join the queue. There doesn't appear to be any options at the moment for anything other than expensive wheels like traffic stars or whatever their called (gto600 has a set for sale)

Seeing as virtually every set of Comps sold had a 9" front and owners are happy with those why don't we try the Rota GTRs again...?

But would make a super strong race wheel, just a bit heavy

I'm happy running 9" fronts on my m400, it doesn't rub.

I'd take two sets of 18" in gun metal with 9" front and 10" rear

I've been doing some searching and it appears someone at compomotive suggests they'll be up and running again soon, that the problems were with suppliers rather than themselves.

Hopefully that is the case.

In the meantime I'm keen to go with the rota wheels, a few guys I raced with this year used them so clearly up to the job.

So to clarify what is being proposed from the two threads as i understand it (i know that this information is probably out of date, but would hopefully be similar)-

  • Rota GTR wheels
  • Choice of colours of silver, gunmetal, black, black with red rim tape.
  • Choice of diameters of 18" or 19"
  • Choice of rim widths of 9" or 10"
  • All wheels will have the 'dished' design in the 9" and 10" widths
  • Standard offset (ET23 front, ET35 rear) and pitch circle diameter (4x 107.95mm, 63.5mm centre bore) as per the standard Noble setup (same across the GTO/3/3R/400?)
  • 8-10 week lead time
  • Roughly £1000 for the four wheels including VAT, no tyres.
Is that right? What size rubber would be needed to keep the standard rolling radius on a 19" 9" front 10" rear setup?

Scrap that idea, they don't do a 9" wide now cry

All they do in 9" and 10" are Boost Drift: http://www.rarerims.co.uk/wheelshop_products.asp?p...
Or Force Drift: http://www.rarerims.co.uk/wheelshop_products.asp?p...

Damn thats a shame, i don't like either of those frown
I see the GTR's are avaliable in 9" and 10" wide formats in the 19" wheel size but not the 18" wheel.
