Specced up Macan at Reading and the waiting lists

Went to Porsche Reading today to finalise spec with them as their configurator actually pictures the changes that the website configurator does`nt, like adding Panoramic or roof rails etc.
Our sales Guy (David) took us around the back to show us certain colour and interior configurations in the flesh on other models, the workshops, spray booths,car storage areas...unbelievable place.I cannot recommend this dealership enough for how we were treated and if this is the way Porsche treat all their customers they have it spot on.This is our first ever Porsche after owning Merc`s,BMW`s,Audi`s and Aston Martin`s and this has to be the best car buying experience we have ever received.
Waiting lists are now into December with the average Porsche dealers getting approximately 35 units per year and a certain main office getting around 70. With us being number 5 we will be confident of getting ours in the first 8 weeks of launch, maybe sooner as the list includes all the variations.
Looking at the waiting lists the residuals should be tremendous on these whatever people say and I reckon by May or June you could be looking at least 18 months for delivery.
Now may be a good time to put an order in for a second one :0)
