Llandrow - How does this compare to other tracks
Discussion
It really depends on what you like from a track.
Llandow is fundamentally an oval with a chicane at the end of one straight and a 'bus stop' at the end of the other. Its quite short, about 0.75 miles I think, and run-off is quite good with the exception of the two bends that link up the straights. Tyre wall and no gravel trap.
Its great for a cheapish day out, but does become quite monotonous very quickly. Its also very abrasive, which although gives good grip in the wet, also gives your tyres a hard time.

Good track to start with specially in a small car I done my first track day in a 1.6 mx5 had a great day trying to get a full lap in with minimal braking apart from the first corner is good fun. This year I got a mev exocet kit car to play with so will be going to some bigger tracks hopefully be booking in for pembrey and have booked in for castle combe for jap fest.
Cant go wrong for 80 quid and noise level is tested so no worries about that.
