Is the start of the Chinese invasion? It's been quite good watching Kia and Hyundai grow as I'm not old enough to of watched another manufacturer do the same. Safest car of 2013 is plastered on the car news websites and it looks nice enough.. If a little bland.

Oops is this car actually coming to the UK?

If it's cheap, frugal, and comes with lots of toys - no reason it shouldn't sell a lot.

I went order a kia sportage a couple years ago. 4 month wait, no discount and no ex-demo or 2nd hands in the spec i wanted. Worked for them.

That looks like some kind of mackeled up Audi A4 pastiche.

Exterior looks like a car, interior looks dated already, cheap and poorly laid out.

I think with the right marketing it could sell. Needs a lot of focus on the safety aspect and quality though as the perceived image in the general british public of these things within anything from China is slightly tainted. Will be interested to hear peoples views on this, my dissertation for university is looking as this sort of thing and the marketing aspect of it all.

For a start, it is cheap, but I quite like it. Less fussy than a lot of modern designs. The fundamental bits of the interior sound good too - leather, AC, electric everything, and the Nav system's been designed by an executive poached from TomTom.

For £17k that's a very passable bit of kit imo, it won't stir the soul, but for a safe small saloon it looks a good buy.

Looks like they've raided the global car parts bin.

It looks quite good, but the styling looks a bit cobbling together.

No flow in design especially with the interior, no consistency

give me consistency dammit.

If it does come to the UK it could be quite a used bargain spec/age wise..

How did Great Wall do with the Steed or whatever it was called?
