Hello Boys and Girls,

I love the odd, the rare, the strange, the obscure. The British do minuscule volume best.

So I've dug out this rather spectacular contraption.

If you don't like one of these then perhaps you shouldn't be on Pistonheads!

Needs fettling but it's all there and correct. Been a long time since I’ve had the pleasure of the roar of twin 40’s on cam.

Eagle eyed eggheads will see a hatchback. Was commissioned when new by 1st owner.

I welcome your thoughts..

I was reading about a Piper GT not so long ago, found under a cover in someones drive, the guy managed to save it just before the scrap merchant took it away.

Sure it was on PH.

Nice car smile

Et voila

I need to get the correct style rubber stripping that goes round the windows.

Can I find it? err no.

That aside what fantastic styling. 1700 Kent crossflow with naturally a Piper cam and twin 40's.

With Ford running gear no sleepless nights..

That's great, I particularly like the way the rear and side windows curve, into the roof.

That number plate dwarfs the front end! Does it constitute a bumper?

OP, how many of yours were made? There are so many cars on PH that I've never seen and no doubt will ever see in the flesh!

It's a Peel Trident. 90 Built. 20 odd left. 189 quid new.

I also have its older brother the P50

Watch this to get all you need to know on Peels...

Oh and this infamous piece with JC who admittedly didn't slate it. About 20 P50's left too...

I agree, do you think we'll see any of these beasties at a Sunday service some time?
