I'm looking for a minimum 65 inch plasma any recommendations please?
I've always had Pioneer plasma's, last one 4 years ago a 60' Kuro, I would like something as good or surpass if possible.

OLED screens are way bigger but cost serious money. Plasma's stop at 65 inches.

At the moment you don't really have anything worth upgrading to imho.

The current VT65 is about it, but I don't think it is better, I had one here for a month, albeit it in 50" guise, but in the end preferred my Kuro, or decided the cost to change was not actually giving me anything.

Wait 12 months and get a 65" OLED for £3500.

I think the 60ZT65 is the one that will be most like a Kuro.

Thanks, I was thinking similar with the VT65, looks impressive. Its not a replacement for the Kuro its an addition. Not really bothered about OLED or current LED's etc, prefer top end plasma's. Simply require the biggest possible still benefitting with all-round quality. The VT65 looks favourite that's available.

I agree on LCDs, they are all ste!

I had a go with the Sony HX923 and that was pants.

But OLED is a different ball game. Panasonic have stopped making plasma now, so grab one if you really want one, cause once they are gone they are gone.

As said above, you'll need to be quick to make sure you get a VT65 as they are no longer making plasma. VT65 is excellent.

I would have gone for the ZT65 as your fund were far greater then mine when I bought my 50VT65 last week.

I was deliberating the superior ZT but not 65' to have an extra 5 inches swung it smile
My eldest lad has a GT42 after seeing that it blew me away with all the smart stuff it has on it etc to have that lot with the biggest Panasonic screen possible swung it in the end.
Funding, buy now pay next year 0%, won't jeopardise Ring trips this year!

Thanks for advice

I just bought an 84" 4K 3D Toshiba and I'm impressed with the quality of the unit, the image and the features.. the only annoying thing is the CPU on it is slower than an old iPhone running a new IOS.. Had to reboot the TV already as Netflix got itself confused and the remote refused to catch up!

Impressive size 84, Saw a similar size Sony in the Forum Sony shop in Vegas recently. That is big enough for me not to go down the projector route. Too big for my bedroom though smile.
I'm going to wait for a couple of years before going down the 4K route in the lounge. Proper majestic size 84...
