Looks good.

And thanks.
Just 2 jobs left to do and then I'm done for this winters work, at least I think/hope it's only 2 jobs left - you never know with these things what you might unearth!!!

Ah ha, I spot the real reason, to catch people talking behind your back?
Max won't be able to hear anyone talking with the microphone located there!
Nice neat installation Max
If this miserable weather persists, I don't think I'll be doing any of my winter jobs until Spring!

Good work Max. Looking forward to hearing the results!
Is your mic permanently fixed there? On my S2 I used to unscrew the light fitting, pop the mic through and tape it in place when needed. Not sure how it would react to getting wet if there all of the time.
Depending on how sensitive it is and how it sounds you might want to wrap a bit of clingfilm around it. This should cut out any wind and road noise without reducing the exhaust burble
And in your first pic those lights look bright (which is a good thing). Is it legal to have a bright white light on the back of a car like that? Maybe add some black paint or a small rubber shield of some sort on the outward facing part of the bulb?
I hope you're making notes Liam
