Porsche Cayenne Rear Tyre Wear

About six months ago I bought a Porsche Cayenne Diesel from a Porsche main dealer, at the time of purchase it was fitted with 21 inch wheels and tyres, (Yokohama /Advan), which according to the PDI details supplied by the dealer had 6mm of tread.
When Bought it was six months old and had 4100 miles on the clock, and had had a full PDI, (used vehicle check, 4 wheel geometry check/adjust etc).
At the end of October (with a total of less than 8000 miles on the odometer [less than 4000 miles from when I took delivery]), and after having returned from a short holiday break with the car, I noticed that the rear tyres where decidedly illegal, in that there was less than no tread on the outside of each tyre and almost no tread on the inside.
Checking the front tyres shows approximately 1mm of wear since the PDI, so I presume no problem there.
Personally I would consider the rate and unevenness of the rear tyre wear to be excessive, would anyone else have similar experiences or opinions/advice regarding this experience?

At new they have 7mm so I would very much doubt they still had 6mm left on the rears after over 4,000 miles.
I have 20" wheels with Yokohamas and after 9,500 miles there is about 3,000 miles remaining. The wear has been even. I am told that Yokohama's are quite soft and the downside is that they wear quickly. The grip may be good but I am disappointed with the wear rate and won't be replacing with Yokohamas.
