Frame Size Help

Just bought a 20" Bizango and I'm wondering if I should of bought a 18"

I've not rode it yet so I can change it no problem, I'm nearly 6'2 but have a short inside leg (30")

If I straggle the top tube feet on the floor I'm touching it with my ( cough ) I'm just concerned if income off I'm gonna smash my nuts

Thoughts please as I'm new to this

Hi Barry, Its Justin who used to be in the Westfield Club. I ride an 18 inch frame and have a 33 inside leg. In a slight theory. Straddle the bike and lift the front wheel up in the air. You should get about 4 inches of ground clearance before your voice changes !!

I have a 31" inside leg and I don't ride anything bigger than 17/18" MTB. Although bottom bracket height makes a difference too.

Yeah I reckon your right, I've ordered an 18" to collect tomorrow.

Sold the Tam to a collector in Germany ( wish I'd kept it )

Had a Carrera 4S hated it very dull and boring to drive now have a SLK55 so back where I belong with a big V8 ;-)

Will say hi to the boys Steve's away skiing and Scoobys getting married this year but there all good, I see you have a ST I quite fancy one for a track toy, like it?

There not too bad as a car, but for a track day I would look at a mk1 RS Focus. Bit more lighter in the corners. ST with 300 bhp in dull grey is a bit of a sleeper, debadged and bland, but still has a good turn of speed. Couldn't imagine you without a V8. if I had the cash and a petrol business would have had your Westie Chevy !!
Try the 18" bike. Always go smaller than bigger. Are you still in Weston way?

Would be a waste to wreak a mk1 RS what about a mk1 st170?

Mate has an ST170 estate ! Its not 'that' fast. Whatever anyone says. They only make 150 bhp on a good one. Mk1's are lighter than the Mk2 ST. The Mk2 is great in a straight and you can make it handle, but there is better track focused cars out there. Hot hatch wouldn't have enough grunt for you.
