Just a thought really ? what is the widest after market wheel fitted with offset that does not rub in anyway ?
And what tyre option size did you use ?
Cheers

I know of a Griff with 305's on the rear, but a small amount of modification was necessary.

TVR fitted the cars with 7J front and 7.5J rear for a reason. And 205, 225 and 245 tyres too. It's a light car. Overwide tyres can give you less grip, not more. I recently heard of a race car where they reduced the width by an inch and improved lap times.

Yep, I'm going back to usual sizez on the Tuscan for next year, didn't really get on with the K11 V70a's... 305 on the rear and 225 on the front!! Now 255 888's all round, much more balanced and no dreaded understeer as the tread tears off the fronts.

My car spent most of its life in Scotland and was running 205's on the front, really turned in well and always felt grippy.
Other than looking odd,if you only drive on the roads a narrow rear tyre would work well.

Really feel that my 245/40 17 and 225/45 16 setup handles well... More predictable than the original setup
