Battery changing
Discussion
If anyone has some advice I'd be grateful. I have the job of trying to change the battery it in situ in the garage where there's not much space or get a mate over to push the car out. The latter is probably the only way it's going to happen. Once I've bought the battery, any tips for anything I may need to reset. I don't want to be in a position where the alarm is going off all the time and I can't stop it etc ? (neighbours have a new baby as well!). In fact one of things the car does after three attempts at starting it, is the alarm goes off for a short time before it finally says 'no'. I'm hoping it *is* just the battery on its way out.
Be careful about the battery you buy as they are all different sizes and have different clamping profiles. Space is tight and slightly too large and it won't fit! I got mine as per the link below (next to last comment) so you know it will both fit & have the correct profile to be clamped down. Its also a good price and has a higher amperage and CCA compared to some batteries.
Its been in over a month now, lasts 3 weeks without being on the charger and spins over like a demented I don't know what so is more than upto the job
