I've put this in the lounge because it involves Facebook and isn't really specific to anything other than me asking "is this a PH meet"?

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=1015253156585...

(essentially a fixed view of two roads merging and lots of really nice cars inc. a 959, Testarossa and lots of other exotics driving past)

A friend on FB shared it with me and I immediately thought "that has to be a Pistonheads thing" but having looked through the forum I can't see any mention of it (that's not to say it's not there of course!)

Some mixed feedback in the comments smile

No I think it was some sort of charity run on the M6. Can't remember who it was organised by though.

ETA Found it, was a charity day organised by the toll chief http://www.m6toll.co.uk/about-us/news/2007/10-05-2...

I would have liked to have been standing where the guy with the camera was.

That was enjoyable to watch a disgraceful demonstration of lunatic acceleration. Totally uncalled for. Those caravanists must have been utterly traumatised. I recognise the Maserati spyder. Though, I'm not sure that the guy who owns it is a regular on here.

Sadly these people exist outside of social media too, that's why I never leave the house.

Probably the same people. Interestingly, they all want to comment and get the high ground on all sorts of issues, but most would never confront somone doing wrong face to face.
