Aberdeen & surrounding area car trimmers? Suggestions

Hi,

Looking for any recommendations for someone who can retrim the carpets in a classic car I've bought. I don't mind travelling a little bit outside Aberdeen but obviously the closer the better.

Good luck, you won't find much in The Aberdeen area. If it's a classic rather than just an old car you'll need to travel a couple of hours for somewhere worthwhile.

The best I know of is near Perth

All the ones I know are in tje Edinburgh area but thought I would list them in case it helps:
- Transcal in Livingston. Do cars but think their bread/butter is doing aircraft seats.
- John Reid beside IKEA in Edinburgh is pretty well rebound and old school. However due to this you may need to wait a while to get your car in

There was an Inverness-based trimmer who advertised to specialise in TVR interiors. A client of mine has a Tamora and needed some hood stitching done iirc and that's where we both settled on after some googling.

I'll see if i can find the details.

Theres a place called Castlegate Upholstery in Montrose. He did a motorbike seat for me and did a cracking job. I don't know how keen he would be to do a complete interior but it would be worth a phone call. It is mainly household sofas etc he does but I was impressed and he appeared to be very professional and made a large effort with my bike seat to get the exact colour and shape. No connection, I was just pleasantly surprised!
