Sl55 fuel pump.

Have seen this asked on other forums but no definite answer.is it fuel pressure regulator that causes it?suppose I could live with it as you can only hear it when stopped in traffic.any help appreciated.

Sounds like pressure sensor may be faulty. You'll find it sitting just above fuel filter left-hand side above diff. Its a beige coloured sensor with fuel pipes connected to it & electrical connector. I think the part number is A 003 542 4818 but don't quote me as its probably been superseded by a newer number.
