Take it down to your local tyre place they will likely have a special removal tool like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bergen-Tools-1-2-Drive-I... - it will only take them the same time as removing a regular nut.

Maybe?

Otherwise try a very sharp chisel between the small holes?

Get a suitable sized nut and weld it on top through the middle of said nut, The heat will also help so undo it before it cools.

I'd try tyre place first, although from my experience the nut has possibly gone this way after a tyre place has put it on . On chisels, in an emergency , I'd use a small sharp chisel to cut a groove in the outer ,and a blunter one to try and move the nut. Reasoning- a sharp one most likely will chew up the damaged but. Otherwise if nut is steel , try welding a smaller nut on top of the damaged bit and use a socket to take off.
